With over 30 years of teaching experience, I help you transform your school French into authentic, natural French. I am known for my clear and logical grammar explanations, structured corrections, and the variety of topics covered in my conversation classes. I help you improve your French and understand it like a native speaker.

I am Loriane, a native French teacher. I help my students express themselves with ease, make themselves understood easily, and speak and write French naturally and fluently, like a native speaker.
I work on pronunciation, speaking and writing, sentence structure, clarity, and confidence, depending on your goal: conversation, work, living abroad, exams (DELF, TCF, etc.), or simply feeling comfortable speaking French every day. My goal: for you to progress quickly and enjoy using French.

Is payment secure?
Yes, all payments are completely secure and made through Stripe. The information transmitted is encrypted by software according to the rules of the art and cannot be read during transport on the network.
What level do I need to be to join private lessons?
Private lessons are available for all levels (beginner A0-A1, intermediate A2-B1, advanced B2-C1-C2).

You don’t know your level in French or you are not sure of your level in French? We suggest you take a test to determine your level in French.
How does a typical session take place?
Each lesson is 100% personalized to your level, goals, and needs. You’ll receive tailored homework between sessions, detailed feedback (both written and oral), and practical tips to apply in your everyday French.
Depending on your needs, your teacher will also support you in preparing for exams (DELF, TCF, interviews, etc.) and help you stay motivated and confident.
Regular check-ins are scheduled to review your progress and adjust your strategy as needed.

I don't live in France and my time zone is different. How to do it?
You can participate in private lessons even if you are located in a country other than France. We recommend checking the equivalence in your time zone. Click here to convert the lesson times to your time zone. You are free to choose your participation days according to your availability and that of your teacher.
What are the qualifications of the teachers?
Our teachers, all native French speakers, are qualified to teach French. They have experience teaching French as a foreign language and know how to adapt to their students’ needs to help them progress effectively.
Are the classes suitable for all ages?
Yes.
Private lessons are a program tailored to help all learners who wish to improve their spoken and written French in a friendly and stimulating environment.
Can I choose my teacher or is it assigned automatically?
You are free to choose your teacher based on your needs and schedule. You can also change teachers later without having to justify your decision.
Are there any homework assignments or exercises to be done outside of class time?
Homework is not mandatory. You can discuss this with your teacher to find out if you want homework outside of class and how much extra work you want.
How can I cancel or reschedule a class?
Once registered, you can manage your lessons directly from your order and booking confirmation emails.
You can then book a lesson directly through the teacher’s calendar up to 24 hours (or 12 hours depending on availability) before the session begins. Please note that if a lesson is canceled less than 2 hours before it starts, it will be deducted from your remaining paid hours.
In case of a last-minute emergency, please inform the teacher of your absence by email.
Do I need to purchase additional resources or books for the courses?
No, no paid resources are required. If needed, a resource can be sent to you 24 hours before the session so you can review it in advance.
Do you offer certificates or attestations for course completion or level achieved?
We can send you a statement or certificate indicating the level you have reached, but this is not an official statement or certificate.
How many hours do I need to reach the next level?
This number of hours is approximate, as no two students learn at the same pace. Furthermore, it will depend heavily on the work you do and the time you dedicate to practicing your French. You don’t learn a language solely through private lessons or conversation sessions; it also requires independent study outside of class. In short, with consistent effort, we would say that it takes roughly 50 to 80 hours of instruction to reach the next level.
I already have some basic knowledge of French. Will this course suit me?
Yes, absolutely.
Our courses are designed for all learners, beginners or advanced. The program adapts to your level, needs, and goals, allowing you to progress at your own pace and focus on what will be most useful to you.
Are there any cultural notions mentioned? Like, for example, what to avoid doing so as not to appear rude or disrespectful?

If needed, the sessions can cover topics related to French culture. We can discuss customs, expressions, subtleties, behaviors to adopt (or avoid) in France, and much more for total immersion in the language and culture.
