The basics
First of all, we work on the pronunciation of French sounds to help you speak without an accent. The teacher guides you throughout this delicate learning process. Essential step for successful integration 😉
Pronunciation
Good pronunciation is essential to make yourself understood when you speak. You will work on each sound progressively by practicing reading dozens of words as if you were a native speaker. Objective: speak with a French accent!
Reading
Reading words, sentences and then texts, effortlessly and with authentic pronunciation is the essential step for your diction to become instinctive and natural.
Conjugation
We help you master all the conjugations of the French language to be comfortable in your oral and written interactions.
Daily
We explain how to choose the right tense and how to adapt conjugations according to each situation, for precise and natural French.
The structure
Master all the conjugations to be able to write all kinds of texts in French (emails, letters, stories, etc.).
Expressions
We share with you the expressions most commonly used by native French speakers in different situations.
The sentences

What is the program? What elements are covered in Objectif B2 training?
The current program is made up of 4 progressive modules! Here are the objectives of each:
- [Module 1] Pronunciation
- At the end of this module, you will be able to read words and sentences with ease. You will know how to pronounce each word with an authentic French accent, which will allow you to communicate fluidly and naturally. You will feel more confident in your reading and speaking!
- [Module 2] Conjugation
- At the end of this module, you will have acquired perfect mastery of the conjugations of the French language and will be able to use them fluently in your daily conversations, to express yourself naturally and effortlessly.
- [Module 3] Grammar
- At the end of this module, you will be able to create fluid and natural sentences, using common expressions and turns of phrase adapted to each situation. You will be comfortable with the concordance of tenses and will be able to choose the right words for each context, to express yourself easily and without hesitation in all situations of daily life.
- [Module 4] The conversation
- At the end of this module, you will be able to have a conversation with a native speaker on various topics. You will be able to express your ideas and understand what you hear in the street, on the radio, on television, etc.
How quickly can I reach level B2?
Our program is designed to allow you to acquire the B2 level in 3 years.
What are the dates, days and times of the group lessons for the Objectif B2 session in January 2025?
Group course training lasts 46 weeks per year:
- in 2025 :
- from week 3 to week 25
- from week 29 to week 51
- in 2026 :
- from week 3 to week 25
- from week 29 to week 51
- in 2027 :
- de la semaine 29 à la semaine 51
- from week 28 to week 50
Two group lesson rhythms are offered:
- For those who prefer to study during the week:
- Monday to Friday,
- from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. (Paris time)
- For those who prefer to study on weekends:
- Saturday and Sunday,
- from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Paris time)
Individual lessons can be booked at any time.
When will the next Objectif B2 session take place?
We plan to schedule registrations 3 times a year. Their dates have not yet been set. Don’t worry, you will be able to hold your place on the waiting lists that we will open. Please note that the times may not be the same as those of the January 2025 session.
The first session will begin:
- January 13, 2025 (weekday training) at 7:00 p.m. (Paris time)
- January 18, 2025 (weekend training) at 1:30 p.m. (Paris time)
Is it possible to join a session at any time?
NO. Each session is like a journey that leads you to your Objectif B2. Once the plane has taken off, it is no longer possible to take it, right? So here we are in the same situation. Once the session has started, it is no longer possible to integrate it. You will have to wait for the next session. A waiting list will allow you to be notified when registrations reopen.
What is the price for training provided during the week?
The price, excluding promotional offers, is €374 including tax per month for 3 years (i.e. a total of €13,455 including tax for the entire training).
This amount includes:
- access to 172.5 hours per year of group lessons,
- at 21 hours per year individual lessons that you can book at your convenience,
- access to replays of group lessons
- access to our community of learners.
The January 2025 session entitles you to an exceptional reduction of -20% on the entire training!
For the January 2025 session, payment can be made in 36 monthly payments of €299 including tax (i.e. a total of €10,764 including tax for the entire training).
What is the price for training provided on weekends?
The price, excluding promotional offers, is €373 including tax per month for 3 years (i.e. a total of €13,410 including tax for the entire training).
This amount includes:
- access to 184 hours per year of group lessons,
- at 14 hours per year individual lessons that you can book at your convenience,
- access to replays of group lessons
- access to our community of learners.
The January 2025 session entitles you to an exceptional reduction of -20% on the entire training!
For the January 2025 session, payment can be made in 36 monthly payments of €298 including tax (i.e. a total of €10,728 including tax for the entire training).
What is the price of training provided entirely in individual lessons?
The price of the training, in individual lessons, excluding promotional offers, is €35 including tax per lesson hour.
It is possible to purchase 1 to 25 courses at the same time and reserve them at your convenience based on your availability, your learning pace and your objectives. Purchased courses are valid for up to 7 months after purchase.
The January 2025 session entitles you to an exceptional reduction of -20% on the entire training!
The price will then be €28 including tax per lesson hour.
Do I have to be present for all classes?
NO. We understand that your obligations may prevent you from being present for each class. This is why we provide you with replays of all sessions.
So you can watch the videos wherever and whenever you want. You have access to it 24 hours a day, no need to be live with us. This is ideal for people with irregular schedules or obstacles.
However, it is advisable to be present and participate in the classes to ensure rapid results.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them during your next individual lesson. Your teacher will be happy to answer you.
Do I need to have basic knowledge of French to register?
NO. Most of our students have no knowledge of French when they start the training. We will explain everything to you from A to Z. This training is made for people who are starting from scratch.
We will take you by the hand and accompany you until the end of your apprenticeship.
I already have knowledge of French. Can this training suit me?
It depends…
YES, this training will help you progress:
- if you have basic French but your level remains below level B2,
- if you have difficulty organizing your sentences well,
- if you don’t remember grammar or conjugation rules well,
- if you have difficulty pronouncing French sounds and words correctly.
BUT, this training is not for you:
- if you have a C1 or C2 level,
- if you only want to speak without delving into the structure of the language,
- if you are not an English speaker.
I already know the basics, do I have to follow all the modules?
YES !
When you start learning French, it happens that certain basics are not well assimilated and these gaps prevent you from making good progress.
Here, in this training, we ensure that each step is perfectly understood and mastered to guarantee quality learning which ensures you have a real B2 level.
Are there any cultural notions mentioned? Like, for example, what to avoid doing so as not to appear rude or disrespectful?
YES. Learning the French language is inseparable from its culture.
Throughout the training, we will discuss the habits, expressions and subtleties that make French culture rich.
Is it possible to join the training after it has started?
NO. In order to be able to devote ourselves to our students and personally follow them in their progress, we ask everyone to register before the opening date of the training.
Are places on the waiting list limited?
No way ! You can therefore register without pressure, it does not commit you to anything.
What if I can't register for a session?
If you are unable to register for a session, send us a message and we will immediately add you to the waiting list for the next session.
What if I want to stop?
You are free to stop at any time, but this will end your access to Objectif B2 training and your learning. If you wish to suspend your subscription, please notify us by email at contact@the-french-academy.com at least 7 working days before the next withdrawal. In this case, no additional amount will be charged.
